Hello Again! We’re Back!

Well, it has been a long time since I posted anything here. We are finally settled in after moving, I’ve started a new job, we’ve got cows and other farm animals at our house (and all the daily chores that come with that), and I am FINALLY able to concentrate on making art again!

Joy Wallace Artwork will be doing a few craft shows this fall. I have been working on some fantastic new items, and I would love to see you!

These are the places we will be:

  • Saturday, October 21, 2023: 6th Annual Fall Festival on Main, Mount Gilead, NC (502 NC-73, Mt Gilead, NC 27306)
  • Saturday, October 28, 2023: Norwood’s Fall Fest Hootenanny, Norwood, NC
  • Saturday and Sunday, November 25 & 26, 2023: North Carolina 2nd Annual Christmas Extravaganza Holiday Market, Cabarrus Arena (4751 NC-49, Concord, NC 28125)

Here is a picture of our goofball cows, just for fun. 🙂

And The Winner Is…

We enjoyed being at the Freedom Festival Craft Show in Waynesville this past weekend. We talked with lots of great folks and sold some good stuff!

We drew a name after the show for out booth’s door prize. The winner was Jennifer Caldwell! I delivered the basket to Jennifer yesterday, and her big smile says it all. Congratulations, Jennifer! I hope you and your family enjoy all the goodies.

“Freedom Festival Craft Show”

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we will be selling our art and crafts this weekend at the “Freedom Festival Craft Show” in Waynesville, NC. The show will take place at the Smoky Mountain Event Center (Haywood County Fairgrounds) at 758 Crabtree Rd. in Waynesville, NC! It is sponsored by the Blue Ridge Artists and Crafters Association, with more than 35 vendors. We will be there Saturday and Sunday, July 10 & 11, and the show will be open from 9:00-4:00 both days. There will be lots of vendors with lots of wonderful handmade crafts! It is an inside show, so we won’t have to worry about getting wet if it rains. If you are going to be in the area, please come check it out!

I will have original paintings, matted prints, a few framed prints on canvas, note cards, painted wooden signs, crocheted dishcloths, and more! There will be hourly show-wide door prizes, and our booth will have a separate door prize that will be given away after the show. If you purchase something from my booth, you will also receive a coupon for 20% off a custom portrait or pet portrait!
